Cincinnati, Ohio -- Duro Bag Mfg, a supporter of The Circuit’s CIO Circle and Technology Circles, recently renewed their IT membership with The Circuit in conjunction with eight other firms. The Circuit is a well-respected and innovative networking group in the Greater Cincinnati area that offers regular opportunities for information technology professionals to meet and share knowledge and lessons learned, particularly in the arena of emerging computer technology.

The mission of The Circuit as an organization is to enhance the development of technology-related companies and institutions in the Cincinnati area. The Circuit has more than 175 member companies who publish and sell software, hardware and computer-related services. The organization provides professional assistance to the information technology community in the Greater Cincinnati area. The Circuit recently hosted a very successful two-day Entrepreneur Boot Camp helping to mentor 33 entrepreneurs with their new business and technology questions.

The Circuit is a member of Ohio's IT Alliance. Ohio's IT Alliance is a State of Ohio Edison Technology Center, chartered by the Governor of Ohio with support and funding from the Ohio Department of Development's Thomas Edison Program.

Reflecting on their long support of The Circuit, Duro Bag Information Services Manager, Rick Hensley, stated last week, “The CIO Circuit provides the opportunity to share information technology best practices at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels with other Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky mid-market companies. This sharing of information affords Duro Bag the opportunity to talk with local organizations that have implemented a particular technology and understand the strengths and weaknesses without vendor or consultant biases.”
