Florence, KY --- Duro Bag Manufacturing Co. Inc., is proud to announce the launch of a new highly efficient, as well as technologically savvy, web site.

The site is one more step in Duro’s push into a fully integrated Microsoft-based platform being implemented company wide.

“This new site will benefit both Duro customers as well as our employees,” said Don Rosing, IT Infrastructure Manager. “In the process of converting the website from Linux to .NET we also took the opportunity to reorganize the product categories and menuing to help our customers find the products they need more quickly and intuitively. It is really easy for everyone to use and provides more details about the products than we have made available in the past.”

On the technical side, the new site utilizes Microsoft SharePoint and .NET with an infrastructure that will allow the site to be integrated with Microsoft Dynamics in the near future.

For the user, the site features streamlined categorization of products, linking products to categories and includes specifications and art templates. There are also more sample images of both bags and products. Both customers and employees will be able to access, edit and update information in user-friendly ways.
